Saadani is the only wildlife park in Tanzania that reaches the Indian Ocean, so you can watch animals in the morning and walk on the beach in the afternoon. It is close to Zanzibar, which makes it one of the easiest and gentlest ways to try a safari.

You can visit for a day or stay a night. The Wami River boat safari is a highlight, with hippos, crocodiles and a flock of colorful birds.

Highlights

  • A short flight from Zanzibar
  • Wami River boat safari
  • Game drive for giraffes, buffalo and antelope
  • A walk on a wild, empty beach
  • Green turtles nest on the coast in season

Different. It is smaller and more relaxed, with fewer big-cat sightings, but it is close, easy and unique because of the sea.

Can I do this as a day trip?

Yes, we can arrange a day or an overnight.

Is it good for children?

Yes. The short flight and varied activities suit families.
