These terms apply to your use of this website and to any trip or service you book through Waves and Wonders Tanzania ("we", "us"). Please read them with our booking and cancellation policy and privacy policy. By booking with us or using this site, you agree to them.
Who we are and what we do
We are a travel planner based in Tanzania. We design trips, arrange bookings and support you before and during your travel. Hotels, airlines, ferry operators, drivers, guides, safari operators and activity providers deliver the services themselves. We act on your behalf in arranging these services, and each supplier's own conditions also apply.
Quotes and bookings
Every trip is planned for you and confirmed in a written quote that lists what is included and what is not. A quote is valid for the period shown on it, and prices depend on availability. A booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit and send you written confirmation.
Prices and payment
Prices are quoted in the currency shown in your proposal, usually US dollars, and include the taxes and service charges stated in it. We may adjust a price after booking if a supplier, tax or fuel cost outside our control changes, and we will tell you as soon as we know. Payment terms, including the deposit and the balance due date, are set out in your quote.
Changes and cancellations
If you wish to change or cancel your trip, tell us in writing as soon as possible. Charges depend on the terms of the hotels and suppliers involved and on how close you are to travel, as explained in our booking and cancellation policy. If we have to change a significant part of your trip, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a refund of the unused part.
Travel documents, health and insurance
You are responsible for having a valid passport, any visas and any health certificates you need. Requirements change, so please check with official sources. We strongly advise comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, evacuation, cancellation and baggage. Please tell us in advance about any medical condition, disability or dietary need that may affect your trip.
Activities and risks
Travel in Tanzania, including sea activities, diving, safaris, mountain climbing and boat and air transport, involves some risk. Wildlife and weather are unpredictable, and schedules can change. You agree to follow the advice of guides and crews and to take part within your abilities.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care in choosing suppliers and arranging your trip. We are not responsible for loss, injury or delay caused by a supplier, by you, or by events outside our control, such as severe weather, strikes, government action, epidemics or natural disasters. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be excluded, or our responsibility for our own fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Complaints
If something is not right during your trip, tell us or the supplier straight away so we can fix it. If we cannot, please write to us within 30 days of the end of your trip and we will look into it fairly.
