Your flight path

DepartZanzibar About 45 to 60 minutes each wayNyerere National Park (Selous)

With two nights, Nyerere stops feeling rushed. You have time for the river, the bush and the quiet, and a walking safari with an armed ranger, which is one of the few places in East Africa where it is a main attraction.

This is a good fit for guests who want a real safari feel but cannot spare the days for the northern parks.

Highlights

  • Three game activities: boat, drive and walk
  • Time to follow the river and the lakes
  • Sunrise and sunset in the bush
  • A calmer, deeper safari rhythm
  • Return to Zanzibar for beach days

How your safari unfolds

Timings are a guide. We confirm the final schedule with the flights available on your date.

  1. Day 1

    Fly in and boat safari

  2. Day 2

A dawn game drive, then breakfast. After a rest, a guided walking safari with an armed ranger reveals tracks, plants and smaller creatures. Sundowners follow.

  3. Day 3

    Last drive and return

One more early drive or boat trip, then breakfast and the flight back to Zanzibar, with a private transfer to your hotel.
